50 Cent’s Palatial Mansion – $9,999,999

1

$9,999,999

Previously listed at $18,500,000, it seems 50 Cent’s Palatial Mansion in Farmington, CT has taken quite the price drop.  Recently listed for $9.9 Million, 50 Cent (Curtis Jackson) reportedly paid $4.1 Million for the property in 2003 and put another $10 Million into it renovating and adding a 40 person hot tub.  Built in 1985, the mansion has had numerous owners throughout the years.  The first owner, Benjamin Sisti, a founder of Colonial Realty, repordetly spent $2.3 Million on the residence but was later jailed for scamming investors out of millions.  The home than went into foreclosure and was put up for auction at $3.5 Million and was later sold in 1993 for $2.7 Million.  The new owner, Romas Martsinkiavitchous, was faced with bankruptcy only a year after owning the large property.  In 1996 Mike Tyson purchased the home for $2.8 Million, and the following year tried selling it for $22 million – which clearly didn’t happen.  The home remained on the market for six years and underwent numerous price cuts until it reached $4.1 Million.  Tyson and his wife Monica got a divorce, she got the house in the settlement and sold it to 50 Cent for $4.1 Million.
The renovations 50 Cent did have really transformed this “single family home” into more of a corporate retreat.  The spaces seem way too large for just one family and the amenities…such as the conference room, 40 person hot tub & dance club seem to be more commercial grade than anything.  I do, however, really like the Mansion.  It’s definitely a lot of bang for your buck – but it’s also a LOT of upkeep.
Experience an opulent lifestyle in this magnificent 50,000+ Sq. Ft. estate with breathtaking mountain views.  The palatial home has room for everyone.  It offers three separate living quarters all with full kitchens, bedrooms, living and dining rooms.  The current celebrity owner, Fifty Cent enjoys the long list of luxurious amenities including: gated entry, three-story atrium, home theater, conference room, gym, billiards room, racquet ball court, indoor pool and fully equipped night club with lighted dance floor, bar and DJ area.  Set on seventeen sprawling, professionally landscaped acres with pond, basketball court, tennis court with viewing area and outdoor infinity pool with grotto.
