Rolls Royce Spirit of Ecstasy Centenary Collection

0

The legendary ‘Silver Lady’ turns 100 this year. Such a major event could not be allowed to simply pass by without a proper recognition of its importance. This is how the Rolls Royce Spirit of Ecstasy Centenary Collection idea was born.
One hundred special edition bespoke vehicles will be made to celebrate the most graceful car mascot, and they will each feature exclusive exterior colors, leather options and wood veneers among other things. Torsten Müller-Ötvös, CEO Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, assures us of the collection’s exquisite craftsmanship and attention to detail. The ultimate luxury that Rolls Royce has accustomed us with will not miss the picture either.
Customers can choose one of the four exterior color options, which are: Rhapsody Black (a metallic black with gold sparkle), Ethereal White Pearl (a white color with a pearlescent look), Maiden Blue (a metallic hue with silver sparkle), and Wildflower (a mix of red and brown with a delicate sparkle). To complete the exclusive look of the car, customers will also have the possibility to choose a unique combination of interior elements, from leather to wood veneers.
And now for the most important part: the Spirit of Ecstasy icons. Each silver-cast Flying Lady will feature a black-gold plated bezel on the base that will bear the following inscription: ‘Spirit of Ecstasy Centenary – 2011’. That same commemorative phrase will appear on the cover plate when the lady will be lowered.
In order to authenticate the collection, a new badge was created. It will be set beneath the Spirit of Ecstasy, on the trunk lid and on the front side panels. For this version of the badge, a white enamel RR symbol is featured on a black chrome background.
Many other details will appear on these limited edition Phantoms, both outside and inside, and we can’t wait to see them in the first pictures that will emerge on the internet, sometime soon, we hope.
