Those who strike our mind at first when we talk about lavish homes are our celebrities. More than a luxury, living in a huge mansion and relaxing in the $150,000 yoga room where they receive massages while gazing at a Japanese-inspired garden, it is a status symbol for the celebrities. So we thought of listing down the top 10 ritziest abodes now on the market that are, or were, owned by the entertainment world’s gliterrati.

1) The Spelling Manor
Home to Candy Spelling, wife of the late TV mogul Aaron Spelling and mother of Tori Spelling better known as Donna Martin for her role in ‘Beverly Hills 90210′, this is the largest home in Los Angeles and the most expensive home in the United States, with an area of 56,500 square ft. of elegant living space on 4.7 acres of exquisitely landscaped flat land in Holmby Hills.
Now available in the market for a whopping $150 million, Spelling told CNBC that she put the mega-mansion on the market because “it’s just too big for one person.”The 6-acre compound has a pool, tennis court and exquisite gardens.
The house has a kitchen bigger than most restaurants, a breakfast room bigger than most dining rooms, a dining room bigger than most living rooms and a living room bigger than most houses. There’s also a gift wrapping room, screening room, game room and a two-lane bowling alley.
Candy once stated that she didn’t know how many bathrooms it boasts and that when she and her husband were building their dream house, she didn’t understand just how big it would be.
Inside the home, everywhere you look there are the family mementos, figurines and knickknacks Spelling acquired in the last 20 years. Candy hoped to move out of The Manor by the end of 2009 however, her plans were seemingly thwarted by the economic downturn.
Candy married Aaron Spelling in 1968. Aaron Spelling is famous for some of the most beloved shows in television history, including “Charlie’s Angels,” “The Love Boat,” “Fantasy Island” and “Beverly Hills 90210.”
2) Former Bel-Air Mansion of Nicholas Cage

Professional baseball player Adrian Beltre moved on from Los Angeles Dodgers in 2004 and in 2010 he decided to sell off his mansion in the area too. The Major League Baseball slugger put up his California estate on the market for $19.8 million and is listed with Sotheby’s Realty.

Martin purchased this 9,882 sq ft Mediterranean-style estate in 2007 for $16,250,000 and listed it last year for $22.5 million, only to have it disappear and reappear as an $18.9 million listing.
Martin has never lived in this home, but he has homes in New York City, Puerto Rico, and one on a private island off the coast of Rio de Janeiro.

Martin’s two-story estate is within a private and secured beachfront community in Golden Beach, FL, which is about 12 miles north of Miami Beach. It has a generous 108 feet of private beachfront. Val Kilmer star of Top Gun, Tombstone and Willow put his 5,970 acre Pecos River Ranch on the market in 2009 for $33 million. The Ranch that features more than five miles of frontage on its namesake river is however, now up for grabs with a price cut. The ranch is now listed for $18.5 million.
The ranch is located approximately 22 miles northeast of Santa Fe and has ample wildlife and a trail system that snakes throughout the property. It is located along a seven-mile stretch of the Pecos River which offers great opportunities for fishing.
In 2009, in a video interview with KOB-TV Kilmer said that when he put the ranch up for sale he was not planning to leave the state. Kilmer said that he only listed the whole ranch to “try and attract a business partner for an idea I have about a sustainable, off-the-grid community.”
