9. Nintendo 3DS

Also debuting in February is this 3.53-inch widescreen console. The bad news is that February 26 is its launch date for Japan, while Europe and the United States will only be able to enjoy the new Nintendo 3DS sometime in March. The screen flaunts 800-by-240-pixel resolution and it is a glasses-free 3D gadget.

8. Panasonic Lumix GF2

Panasonic has prepared something really special for the photography passionate out there: the Lumix GF2 is the smallest digital interchangeable lens system camera that the company has ever made, and it is also a record breaker in terms of weight. It features a touch-screen LCD with a 460,000-dot-resolution. One great thing about this device is that it is perfectly compatible with the new 3D interchangeable lens from Panasonic, the Lumix G 12.5mm/F12.

7. Hewlett-Packard WebOS Tablet

iPad may have a true competitor in this tablet from HP (Hewlett Packard). It is a touch-and-stylus-inputs tablet featuring the now famous WebOS operating system, and it will have the approximately same dimensions as the iPad. It is expected to hit the market in March.
